  • What type of events do you cater for?

    We bring our pizzas to private celebrations and events, including weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and intimate family parties. Our service is buffet style, so works well for late food rather than a main wedding breakfast.

    At this stage, we do not work at public events such as festivals or fetes.

  • Where are you based?

    Tin Roof Pizza’s home is Shoreham by Sea, just outside Brighton, in Sussex.

  • How far do you travel?

    Our 1956 Dodge pick up is driveable, but due to her age we only cover relatively short distances - up to about a 60 mile radius of our base in Shoreham. See our contact page for a map that gives more guidance.

  • How much time do you need to set up before service?

    We usually arrive 3 hours before the start of service. This allows us time to get set up and get the oven up to 450 degrees required for our pizzas.

  • What are the dimensions of the truck?

    The truck is 8ft wide and 16ft long. We need roughly an area of 18 square ft for the full setup.

  • Is there a minimum order?

    Our minimum order for events is 60 pizzas.

  • How many pizzas can be cooked over a 2 hour period?

    We can cook around 80 pizzas in 2 hours.

  • How many different pizzas can we choose?

    Please choose 4 different pizzas from our menu. If you have any additional requests or dietary requirements please don’t hesitate to get in contact.

  • How are the pizzas served?

    Our pizzas are served buffet style, presented on wooden boards, and we simply keep topping up as guests help themselves to slices. We don’t have the capacity to cater for individual pizza orders at most events.

  • Do you have a vegan option?

    Yes, we do! Our vegan pizza is topped with delicious vegan pesto, spinach, peppers, caramelised onions and pine nuts. See our menu page for more details, or get in touch to discuss more menu options.

  • What happens if the weather is bad?

    We have a gazebo for when the weather doesn't look too favourable.

  • How do I confirm my booking?

    We ask for a 50% deposit to confirm your booking. Then we post out a final invoice two weeks prior to your event.
